But fast forward 9 years, now everybody is selling the 550cc (and knock offs) on their site for high dollars. Here at Bytetronik, we continue to sell nothing but Genuine Bosch 550cc injectors at a competitive price. There maybe cheaper alternatives on eBay, but who is to say that those are not “fake Bosch” injectors from the Far East?
With each purchase of Bosch 550cc injectors along with our FullAccess (FA53) tuning kit, we provide you with a complimentary Base Tune at no extra cost. All you need to send us are some data logs from your MINI R53 using the FA53. We stand by our products and support what we sell 100%.

This video was taken by 1320MINI in the UK, documenting the spray pattern of the various MINI R53 Fuel Injectors. The injectors are lined up as such (in order from LEFT to RIGHT):
1) Stock S injector;
2) JCW 380 injector;
3) Bosch OE 550 injector sold by Bytetronik & 1320MINI in the UK;
4) RMW ‘440s’ – 2nd generation SRT ones
And we are adamantly against the usage of “drill out” injectors. See below the reasons why we do not sell or recommend “drill out” injectors on any customer cars.
